 USDA - United States Department of Agriculture

 

The United States Department of Agriculture - Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA-FAS) has endorsed International Food and Drink Expo India 2009.  The mission of USDA-FAS is to create economic opportunity for American agriculture by expanding global markets.  It has developed a partnership with IMEX Management to organize a collective US Pavilion at the show in order to expand market opportunities and exposure in India for U.S. food manufacturers and products.

 

Australian Trade Commission (Austrade)

 

The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is the Australian Government's trade and investment development agency, operating as a statutory agency within the Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio. Austrade assists Australian businesses contribute to national prosperity by succeeding in trade and investment, internationally, and promoting and supporting productive foreign investment into Australia. Austrade operates through a global network of offices, with representatives overseas in over 110 locations in more than 60 countries.

 

Italian Trade Commission

 

The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (I.C.E., Istituto nazionale per il Commercio Estero) is the Italian government agency entrusted with the promotion of trade, business opportunities and industrial co-operation between Italian and foreign companies. It supports the internationalisation of Italian firms and their consolidation in foreign markets.

CFNA

China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CFNA) is a non-profit national trade and industry organization, which has been servicing China Agro trade and industry community since 1988. CFNA provides members and their foreign partners with services and assistance in market information and consultancy, business coordination, legal services, trade promotion, exhibitions, training, government affairs, trade dispute settlement, quality improvement of export goods, food safety issues etc

Meorient International Group Co Ltd

Meorient International Group Co Ltd is engaged in international service trade. With the principle of 'connecting the continents with services, linking the seas with trades', Meorient undertakes series of services to promote trade. Her main business includes international convention & exhibitions, e-commerce, newspapers & magazine, business consultancy, logistics, overseas market operation, import, etc., and she is one of the first companies who are engaged in service trade in China.

 

Indian Importers Association

 

The Indian Importers Association (IIA) is the only recognized and registered trade body in India which looks after the interests of its importers. It is platform, a forum and a lobby to look after the interests of its members.  The association has also attracted member companies in more than 100 international countries who have approached the IIA to assist them in appointing suitable distributors in India. The IIA also organises delegation visits abroad, seminars and provides industry relevant information.

 

Sopexa

On behalf of the French Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Sopexa assists French agribusiness companies in the promotion of their activity in export markets.In India, Sopexa’s mission is to promote the image of the full range of French agro products and assist the flow of trade through promotions in the hotel and retail sectors, staff training, and consulting services. Sopexa promotes all "Made in France” agro food products and has created a website www.frenchfoodsandbeverages.in for professionals to understand French food & beverages better. Uniting French agribusiness for greater visibility, along with training, informing and sharing of French expertise are the primary objectives of the group. Sopexa also campaigns to inform consumers. The Department of Trade and Industry

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries is the nodal agency of the Government of India for processed foods and is responsible for developing a strong and vibrant food processing sector with emphasis on the following:

  • Stimulating demand for appropriate processed foods.
  • Achieving maximum value addition and by-product utilization.
  • Creating increased job opportunities particularly in rural areas.
  • Enabling farmers to reap the benefits of modern technology.
  • Creating surpluses for exports.
